In this post, I’ll share some considerations as you choose your wedding colors, with some tips on incorporating them in a tasteful way without going overboard!

When it comes to choosing your wedding colors, you should definitely take inspiration from your personal style and favorite things!
Think about the colors you love to wear, the flowers you love, and even the food you love. Use these as inspiration when choosing your wedding colors. When certain colors make you feel happy and comfortable, that’s only going to add to the overall vibe of your wedding day, and make you happy to see those colors all around you in a beautiful way!
Consider Your Wedding Season

If your dress is a different color, like a champagne or blush - we’re even seeing light blue and lavender wedding dresses! So my advice is always to purchase your wedding dress first, before you start finalizing colors and details! You'll want to choose wedding colors that coordinate well.

The last thing you want is for your wedding day to approach, and you see thousands of other weddings online doing the same ideas or color scheme as your wedding. While your wedding day could never look exactly like someone else’s - if you consider yourself a trend-setter or like to be different, you’ll want to look ahead to what's going to be trending when you get married!
Consider Your Skin Tones
Another factor to consider when choosing your wedding colors is your skin tone. You want to choose colors that will look good on you and your bridal party. If you have a cool skin tone, you may want to consider colors like silver, lavender, or deep blue. If you have a warm skin tone, you may want to consider colors like gold, coral, or olive green.
