I had the pleasure of having Stephanie photograph my wedding at The Magnolia in Pigeon Forge. I am an out of town bride, so I was super picky when selecting a photographer. I wanted someone whose pictures were bright, happy, and true to the couples that is why I was so happy when I stumbled onto her page. From the moment I requested a quote, Stephanie was extremely accommodating to my needs and put me right at ease. She made a very stressful process into an easy one - which is a miracle when you are planning a wedding! She sent me a super cute care package before the wedding filled with all kinds of goodies from a monogrammed mug to helpful tips for the big day.
On the day of the wedding, she was the calm during the storm - keeping everyone stress free and on schedule for the day. I honestly don't know what we would have done without her! Two days after the wedding, we were able to see at least 10-15 sneak peek shots, and we had access to our online gallery within 6-8 weeks. A couple weeks after that we received our custom heirloom box including several 5x7 images already printed out and ready to frame as well as the flash drive with all our pictures.
Overall, I can not recommended Emerald and Ivy enough!

Stephanie is a rock star of a photographer! She has been on our journey from the beginning. She captured our proposal, shot our engagement photos, and our wedding photos. We also got to do a fun styled shoot with her. “The sweetest day captured by the sweetest photographer!!!”
Stephanie was absolutely incredible. Aside from our venue, she was the first vendor we selected. From day one, she made herself super available to us, and she made the planning process much easier for us. Wedding planning was not necessarily something I was looking forward to, especially without having my family in the same state as me for the entirety of the process. Stephanie helped us find and decided on other vendors, as well as all timing decisions by outlining a day-of timeline with us on the day we met. She took the time to get to know my now husband & I, and she told our story with us!
We had a small ceremony with no wedding party and it was all beautifully captured. We also did 3 “first looks,” which was wonderfully organized & captured. Because we only had a Best Man & MOH, I did a first look with my dad, my siblings, then my man. We got married in the evening, and the last thing we wanted was to have to spend the whole day celebrating separately, so we decided to do the three first looks early in the afternoon. This was also wonderful because we had plenty of time to do our portraits & saved family portraits for between the ceremony and the reception.

My new husband and I can not say enough amazing things about Stephanie! From the moment we met her she was so completely professional, thorough, and caring. (I know caring is probably a weird term to her someone say about their vendors, but we truly do believe she has a heart of gold) We live in Indiana and were so overwhelmed and stressed to find the perfect photographer. Stephanie scheduled a Skype session with us where we went over the ENTIRE contract. Which I know to some sounds like a lot, but this was the best thing any vendor did for us. There was no gray areas during the entire payment process, event, or even after when our pictures should arrive. She even did her very best to bring my fiance in to the decision making process and asking his opinion. He isn't one to open up to a lot of people but he did, and in return I truly feel made all the difference in our photos. He was relaxed and trusted Stephanie. Once we booked, Stephanie even sent us a little thank you care package! (Which I loved so very much!) She touched base in the months leading up to the wedding, made recommendations, and truly cared about the overall process. The weeks leading up to the wedding we had another touch base where we went over specific shots. She even made a day-of timeline for me to distribute to my wedding party, which was amazing to have one less thing to worry about. The day of the wedding she arrived ON TIME and ready to go! She really did an amazing job directing everyone throughout the day and making sure everyone was where they needed to be. She made us do poses, talks, and funny walks that turned out amazing! My husband and I felt really blessed to have Stephanie as a wedding photographer. She was extremely helpful. She was always there for me. As i was not familiar with the area where our wedding was located, she helped with finding a venue, florist, she even did timing for our wedding day, she brought a prop (vintage double bicycle) for us which we really wanted in our photos .
